NAZIM UDDIN AHMED, CHAIRMAN

 

Nazim Uddin Ahmed is a successful entrepreneur with business interests spanning textiles, real estate, food & beverage, distribution and financial services.

Nazim is the Founder & Chairman of Urban Design & Development Limited (UDDL), a leading real estate developer. UDDL has completed more than 100 residential projects in Bangladesh over the last twenty years. His textile operations, Interstoff & Southeast Textiles, manufacture Ready Made Garments for leading global brands including Marks & Spencer, Target and H&M. The group is one of the largest such exporters from Bangladesh. He is the Chairman of Dhaka Ice Cream Industries (Polar) and Dan Foods Ltd, a market-leading ice cream and premium cake brand respectively. Dan Foods is a joint venture with Dan Cake A/S, Denmark. Nazim also chairs Alpha Islami Life Insurance.

 

Nazim has an engineering degree from Khulna University of Engineering & Technology (KUET), an MBA from the Institute of Business Administration (IBA), University of Dhaka, and an M.Phil. from the University of Dhaka. 

 

MUHAMMED SAYEED, DIRECTOR

 

Muhammad has decades of professional experience working with the country’s largest textile operations. Representing the Renaissance Group of companies in Riverstone’s Board, his business interests include textiles, chemicals and financial services.  The Renaissance Group is a leading manufacturer and exporter of readymade garments catering to global brands including Target, Woolworths and Next. Muhammed is also director of Alpha Islami Life Insurance.

 

SHAHPAR SULTANA ALAM, DIRECTOR

 

Shahpar is the founding CEO of Show and Tell, one of the country’s leading event management companies. Show and Tell is one of the oldest such companies in Bangladesh and has been involved in major state and sports events like the SAARC Summit and the Cricket World Cup .
